Sustainable progress, peace, and justice require that Agency of International Cooperation for Development contribute to the common good. Thus, our NGO integrates self-development and service to many people, balancing individual, and public concerns, focusing on higher, broader, and more public levels of service.
In addition to abiding by international and local laws and its own articles of governance, ACID also complies with the terms and conditions of donors who want to ensure that award funds are spent wisely.
Thus, ACID strives for openness and honesty internally and toward donors and members of the public. Periodic accountings are being made.

The Executive Office requires transparency in all its dealings with the government, the public, donors, partners, beneficiaries, and other interested parties, except for personnel matters and proprietary information. ACID’s basic financial information, governance structure, activities, and listing of officers and partnerships are to be open and accessible to public scrutiny and we make effort to inform the public about our work and the origin and use of our resources. We are accountable for our actions and decisions, not only to funding agencies and the government, but also to the people we serve, staff and members, partner organizations, and the public at large.
By entering into an agreement with a partner, our Executive Office agrees to guarantee that all aspects of the organization’s project implementation are in line with the donor’s policies, rules, and regulations. Not fulfilling these obligations can result in compromising the ACID’s credibility. The terms and conditions of ACID’s award are outlined in a Cooperative Agreement or other legally binding document the organization signs. One of our goals is to make sure any fund received from any donor is used to deliver needed services to beneficiaries as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. To do this, ACID has developed an effective and efficient procurement policy, as well as procedures and practices to operationalize it. This sound procurement policy helps the organization:
• establish and maintain control procedures;
• seek open competition to obtain the best value for the money;
• ensure that staff do not mishandle funds;
• avoid purchasing dangerous or low-quality goods that could potentially cause more harm than good;
• avoid purchasing unnecessary items; and
• protect itself and its beneficiaries
